We love our little Pecan orchard here at Coppertree Acres Farm!
This 2022-2023 season was our first full season on the property from bud break to harvest! When we purchased the property we weren't given any information about the types of Pecans or fruit trees growing here as sadly the original owner passed prior to our taking ownership.
However, we do know from neighbors and friends in the area that the kinds of Pecan trees planted here are unlike any growing on neighboring farms and everyone very much enjoyed the varities growing here.
We have eight different varities of Pecans and multiple trees of each, from species of Elliot Pecans to the native Pawnee, there are various shapes and sizes which make for a specialty assortment in each and every bag thats sure to please!
We only use organic fertilizer and our chickens foreging on pasture to feed the trees. We do NOT use any pesticieds, herbicieds or fungisides on the trees or anywhere on the property.
